Our Warehousing Facilities
Britannia Storage and Distribution Ltd operates 60,000 square feet of modern, dry, and secure warehousing over its two sites at Goole (East Yorkshire) and Ipswich. Both sites are ideally situated close to the main motorway network, with east access to the M62, M18, M1, A1 and A14. A number of key services can be provided including stuffing and de-stuffing containers, palletising products, inventory control, order picking and onward distribution.
In both locations we are able to locate and control stock using our bespoke computerized systems, but also have the added service of our own software development team, who can tailor systems to suit individual customer needs. We are able to de-van containers, palletised or loose filled, and can store to meet our customers’ specific requirements. Both sites are able to break bulk stock into smaller units for onward transmission and to order pick as instructed. Britannia operates its own 44 ton curtain-sided vehicles and is able to distribute palletised loads to most locations in the Midlands and North East of England. Our site in Goole is staffed 24 hours, 7 days per week, so able to service customer needs whenever required. Situated only 3 minutes from junction 36 of the M62, we are ideally placed for movements of stock along the M62 corridor as well as the M1/A1, covering the eastern counties and the Midlands.
